It has added mineral salts which when combined provide a product which is incredibly efficient, mould resistant,

Vermin unfriendly (they don’t like the taste of borax), pest resistant (borax is a natural insect killer), has a zero spread of flame index

(Doesn’t burn) and uses very little energy to produce. To top off this impressive list it also locks up carbon which is great for the environment.
